On a Thursday evening, Helen Yeomans runs body control pilates classes.
Pilates is a body-conditioning method which targets deep postural muscles building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and helping to bring it into correct alignment, gaining the perfect balance between strength and flexibility. Classes involve a mixture of lying, seated and standing exercises which can easily be adapted to take into consideration physical limitations.
Weekly classes are available in blocks of 6 weeks at a time to encourage development. Class numbers are kept low so I can monitor individual needs and offer any necessary support.
Intermediate 7.00 - 8.00 p.m. Improvers 8.15 - 9.15 p.m.
