Great Bridgeford and District Village Garden Guild

would love to welcome you at one of our meetings

We meet at 7.30pm on the 2nd Monday of each month from January to November, usually at Great Bridgeford Village Hall.  We have a speaker at several of the meetings, for approximately an hour, then have refreshments, when the members can meet and talk.  The speakers cover a variety of subjects which is either directly or indirectly related to gardens & gardening. We have a competition most months for members.

We hold a horticulture show in August each year where we welcome entries in a long list of categories, including vegetables & flowers, domestic (cakes, savouries, preserves, etc) and handicrafts. You don’t have to be a member to enter. Even if you don’t enter anything it’s an interesting show to look around.

​

We finish up the year with a Christmas meal in December usually at a local hostelry.

​

Please give us a try, come along to a couple of meetings to see if you like it before joining, visitor charge is £2 per meeting – we’re a friendly bunch and welcome new faces. The annual membership is £7 if over 60 and £8 if under.
